The Minnesota Vikings will take on the Green Bay Packers and Justin Jefferson had some words before the game.

In an interview with Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Jefferson had this to say,

“We play them twice a year and we need to get this dub. The energy been up all week… I got a little something for em, we got some plays mixed up and we got some shots to throw.”

These are big words for the Vikings star wide receiver. Minnesota has a tough one on their hands here as they are taking on the 8-2 Green Bay Packers, arguably the best team in football. The Vikings have looked good this season at times, they can definitely compete with the best in the league. They have played three of the other best teams in football including the Arizona Cardinals where they only lost by a point, the Dallas Cowboys where they only lost by four points, and the Chargers who they beat by seven points last week.

Jefferson has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL for the Vikings this season. The 22-year-old LSU prodigy is 16th in yards at 775 and has four touchdowns on the year.

Minnesota will have a tough shot of making the playoffs but it is still in reach. Getting a win against a division rival will certainly help that as Green Bay is in first place of the NFC North and Minnesota is in second
