The Minnesota Vikings have certainly not been playing to their capability this season as they are currently 7-9. Because of how bad that they have played this year, there have been many questions on if Mike Zimmer is going to return as the head coach for the Vikings.

Around The NFL reported that Zimmer had this to say about his job status with the Vikings,

“Not for me to judge”

It would make sense that the Vikings do decide to go a different route because there are clearly issues on their team. Usually, when a team underperforms as much as the Vikings have, the head coach is usually the first one to go. It always isn't the fair case because players certainly have a major impact on how the season goes, but Zimmer has not done as well as a job as he needs to for the Vikings to be successful.

It will be interesting to see what the Vikings decide to do because they have not found much success in the past few seasons. They're one of the storied franchises of the NFL and every season that they do not make the playoffs is most certainly a disappointment.

They're going to have a long offseason that will probably see their head coach being fired and also going out and getting some new pieces. Minnesota will take on the Chicago Bears in their final game of the season.
