SAN FRANCISCO — The Golden State Warriors are 2-0 so far in preseason action. Although the record doesn't count for much, it's still a good sign for the Golden State Warriors, especially with all the new faces on the team. The thing that stands out most is the on-court chemistry between the new players and the ones who've been around for a while. It's something center Kevon Looney has noticed as well.

“It’s a bit surprising because it’s not easy to come in here and pick up our system. Usually, guys first arrive and struggle with knowing where to go and where to cut. Guys like Otto (Porter Jr.) and Beli (Nemanja Bjelica) just fit right in. Avery (Bradley) is playing well, and everybody else on the bench kind of knows what they're doing,” Looney tells ClutchPoints.

This Warriors team might be the best put-together squad since their 2019 NBA Finals appearance. The chemistry they're displaying could continue throughout the regular season. Porter has received a ton of praise for how well he fits, and so have Bjelica and Bradley. The mixture of size, quickness, and shooting will be a big part of the Warriors' success. The team is figuring things out quickly, and it's because of a few people, according to Looney.

“Credit to the coaching staff and player development guys that are pounding it home that we like to move the ball. Everyone's been doing a good job,” Looney said.

Friday night, the Warriors will face the Los Angeles Lakers at home inside the Chase Center. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are expected to play as they try to win their third straight game.
