Andre Iguodala played a trick on Turner Sports' reporter Rosalyn Gold-Onwude in a recent interview when he stated that he would be retiring from the NBA following the 2018-19 NBA season. It was a trick that caught the reporter off guard and made her think that she had just gotten a massive exclusive story.

The video interview came during Warriors media day on Monday has the whole video and if you haven't seen it, make sure to watch it and get a good laugh below!

Iguodala is heading into 15th NBA season. That number just doesn't seem right, but time has flown by and he is now one of the aging veterans in the league. Golden State has had a lot of success in the five years he has been there and without him helping set the culture, there is a chance that the team would not have made it this year.

Not only is Iguodala a top-notch veteran presence, he is also still a great player on the court. Last season with the Warriors, Iguodala ended up averaging 6.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Those numbers don't show how big of an impact Iguodala makes when he is on the court.

Looking ahead to the 2018-19 season, the Warriors are once again viewed as the favorites to win another NBA Finals title. Iguodala is going to have a big role off of the bench once again. He may not have to help carry the team anymore, but they still need his all-around game and defense.

While he may not be retiring following this season, time is beginning to run out for Iguodala. He is 34 years old and may very well be playing his last couple seasons.

Either way, Iguodala got a hilarious reaction out of the reporter he was interviewing with and it is media gold for NBA fans.
