Golden State Warriors sixth man Andre Iguodala does a lot of things well. On a good night, it seems like he does everything well, including shooting the ball despite his best strength being on the defensive end.

But this season, Iguodala has had a difficult time putting the ball in the basket. He's only averaging 5.6 points and shooting career lows in both field goal and 3-point percentage.

Iguodala was asked about his poor shooting season after the loss Wednesday night against the Clippers. His response was priceless, per Mark Medina of the Mercury News.

“I just suck,” Igudoala said. “I play good defense, though.”

It's true that offense is not what the Warriors pay him for. He is on that team to defend the opposing team's best player and provide some veteran leadership, both of which he does quite well even at his age.

But it's also true that when Iguodala does give the Warriors offense, they're all the more dangerous. So it's a balancing act. And Iguodala seems to understand that, per Medina.

“Just playing. I shoot the same shots. Sometimes you get caught in between,” Iguodala said. “As long as we keep winning, it doesn’t really matter. If we were losing, I’d probably get traded. But we’re winning. But even if you’re winning, it’ll be something. You have to find something.”

Still, it appears that Iguodala would like to find a way to be a bit more effective on the offensive end. Now that the league is collectively about halfway through the season, he still has some time to figure it out.
