The Warriors are expected to return back to title contention next season. After all, they still have their core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in the fold. Head coach Steve Kerr, who guided the team to three titles in five attempts, isn't going anywhere, too.

The Warriors also have the second overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Analysts widely believe that they will use this to pick up another piece via trade. As such, there have been rumors swirling around that Wiggins might be inserted into a trade package.

Time will only tell if these rumors turn into reality, but the fact of the matter is that NBA stars use the offseason to hone specific skills—something that the team needs from them. As such, if Andrew Wiggins is working on his handles, then we might see him embrace point-forward duties for the Warriors in the coming season.
