Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal reacted to a video post from internet star Famous Los on Damion Lee's hard foul against Keldon Johnson. The Golden State Warriors guard was thrown out of the ball game against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, after whacking the Spurs youngster in the head around the nine-minute mark of the final period.
Famous Los hilariously said Lee should have been called for a “Flagrant 18”, which Beal re-tweeted afterward.
Damion Lee, meanwhile, put up two points and five rebounds in 13 minutes for Golden State before his untimely ejection. It remains unclear at the moment if the league will impose more sanctions on the Warriors reserve guard.
Keldon Johnson, on the other hand, brushed off the hit and finished the contest with 12 points, eight rebounds, and three dimes in 27 minutes. The Warriors eventually ran away with the win, 121-99, inside Chase Center.
As for Bradley Beal and the Wizards, they haven't exactly found their groove yet at the start of the 2020-21 NBA season. His pairing with fellow superstar Russell Westbrook has failed to produce results, as Washington currently holds the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference standings at 3-8. It's not for Beal's lack of trying though, as currently leads the league in points per game at 35.9 per game while shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from past the arc.
Beal and the Wizards actually came out victorious in their most recent outing against the Phoenix Suns. The 27-year-old sharpshooter knocked in a near triple-double of 34 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds in 35 minutes.
