Charles Barkley goes off on Warriors’ Draymond Green with hilarious metaphor

Charles Barkley, Draymond Green, Warriors

For NBA legend Charles Barkley, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is “the worst member of the boy band.”

Earlier, Green claimed that Barkley is just jealous of him and his achievements which includes three title rings. In an appearance on Coffee With Cal, Barkley retaliated, comparing Green to the ‘worst member’ of a boy band.

“He’s the worst member of the boy band who doesn’t realize he’s standing next to Timberlake. When the girls are throwing panties at his head, he’s going to get hit by some drive-by panties, but they’re really meant for Timberlake.”

While Barkley believes that Green is a good player, he noted that the Warriors forward got his rings because of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant. Without them, Green wouldn’t be even in the conversation.

To beef up his argument, Barkley pointed to the other players who have played with the likes of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. These players, despite having won multiple titles, don’t go around boasting about their rings. Instead, they consider themselves lucky that they’ve played with one of the greats of the game.

Below is Green’s side during his appearance on the All The Smoke podcast. He’s well-aware of what Barkley was like during his playing days. But for him, he has had more impact on the game than Barkley.

Barkley and Green’s little debate sure is keeping NBA fans entertained. Most fans are taking Barkley’s side, but the Warriors forward does have some valid points. What’s going to happen next in this Green-Barkley saga?
