Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is undoubtedly the GOAT shooter. But while that is the ultimate praise he can get, it doesn't really reflect how great of a shooter he is.

After Curry surpassed Ray Allen's record (2973) for the most 3-pointers of all-time on Tuesday against the New York Knicks, The Athletic broke down all his 2974 triples by distance, type, opponent and more. One of the biggest revelations in the analysis showed just how amazing the Warriors star is: 52.5 percent of his shots were nothing but net.

Yes, more than half of all his 3-points made didn't even touch the rim. Of course, it only seems fitting that his record-breaking three also splashed the net.

Being part of the Splash Bros. aside, we can very well call Stephen Curry the Splash King. Making 3-pointers is one thing, but doing it at the efficiency and flashiness that Curry does is another.

However, this is the type of number that isn't really surprising to see from the Warriors guard if you consider the type of work he puts in. To recall, during the offseason, he worked more on his shooting and even used technology to track its movement.

Simply put, if the ball failed to drop in the middle of the rim, Curry and his trainer count it as a missed shot.

With his desire to keep improving and reach perfection, no wonder Curry has been god-like, as Kevin Durant put it.
