Kevin Durant shocked the NBA world when he demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets last week. After the initial shock of it all, NBA fans proceeded to blast Durant for asking for a trade just two years into his contract. Amid all the chaos, Draymond Green made his feelings known about the topic.

To the surprise of some people, Draymond Green actually came to the defense of Kevin Durant. On his podcast, the Golden State Warriors forward defended Durant's decision to ask for a trade. According to him, KD simply made a “business decision”. (via ClutchPoints)

“People can’t accept the fact that athletes are now businessmen and no longer just playing basketball.”

Durant is no stranger to making these business decisions for himself. In fact, one of his biggest decisions involved Draymond himself, when he spurned the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Warriors. That move turned out to be favorable for KD, as he earned two rings and two finals MVPs in the Bay Area.

Since then, though, KD's “decisions” have backfired on him. His decision to leave Golden State for Brooklyn has since been criticized by many, especially after the lack of success. Many laughed at KD's decision to choose Irving over the Warriors, especially after they won a championship this year.

We'll see if Durant's next business decision will turn out better for him. There are many suitors for KD's services right now, including the Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, and the Toronto Raptors. Will any of these teams land KD?
