The 2022 NBA Finals will officially begin on Thursday as the Boston Celtics face the Golden State Warriors. The C's have been easily the best team in the league since January, but Draymond Green believes the Dubs just need to expose their weakness defensively, even if they haven't shown one yet.
For pretty much since January, that’s been the best team in our league, and what can we do to combat some of their strengths and not play into their hands, try to expose some of their weaknesses? I think that's what us, the Warriors, need to figure out.…
But it’s really just understanding what their strengths are and how to exploit the weakness. They’re a great defensive team. Absolutely incredible. But they have defensive weaknesses, right? That’s with anybody. You can be as great of a defensive team as you want, at some point every great thing has a weakness, and so can we figure out what those weaknesses are? That’s the challenge, right?

The C's finally got over the conference finals hump and will be feeling confident heading into this Warriors series. However, Steph Curry and Co. can't be taken lightly either, especially with their championship experience. Although Boston has been stifling defensively, Golden State has the weapons to do damage.
We're in for one hell of an NBA Finals that could easily go seven games, and Draymond Green will be making it his mission to find the Celtics‘ weak spot.
