All things must come to an end. As amazing as their run has been over the past five seasons, this Golden State Warriors dynasty will have its inevitable final course.

The Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen Chicago Bulls of the 1990's eventually saw their dynasty falter after the 1998 title, and the franchise has never won since. The Shaq-and-Kobe-led Los Angeles Lakers fell apart after winning three straight titles.

As history has written out, this Warriors run will eventually come to a close at some point – and Draymond Green is aware that. However, in an interview with Nick Friedell of ESPN, he isn't too concerned about the looming possibility of a finale in the near future.

“You know why?” Green said. “I think because we know no matter what, at some point it's going to end. Whether it ends while we're all together, whether it ends when everyone separates, it's going to end at some point. That's the nature of the game we play. The fact of the matter is whenever it ends, I think we maximized. Like, we're going to have a feeling of we maximized what we could do.”

There's no question that Golden State is the team of this decade. The resume speaks for itself: three championships in four straight NBA Finals, a historic 73-win record season, a 322-88 record over a five year span.

The Warriors once again enter this post-season as heavy favorites to win it all in June. With the number one seed in their pockets for the entire Western Conference playoffs, it's going to be very tough for other teams to knock off Golden State before June.

But as we've seen in the past, sustaining a run like this is extremely difficult. The amount of games they have played throughout this stretch will eventually take its toll on their bodies at some point. It also doesn't help that they have faced plenty of drama throughout the season, most prominently Kevin Durant's impending free agency this summer.

Nonetheless, the Warriors have been here for the past five seasons. They know what it takes to piece together a championship run. And it helps their cause that they've added DeMarcus Cousins to add another dynamic in their offense. As hard as it is to win in this league, teams will have a harder time taking down this version of the two-time defending champions.
