Per The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is “unlikely” to return during the team's road trip, according to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. However, the Warriors guard Alfonzo McKinnie is targeting Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers for his return.

Green hasn't played since November 15th against the Houston Rockets thanks to a toe sprain. However, Green says he's now pain-free and anxious to get out on the court, as you might expect.
With Green being ruled out for the remainder of Golden State's road trip, he'll have to wait until November 10th — when the Warriors face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves — to have that opportunity.
Averaging 6.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game this season, Green has continued to stuff the stat sheet in his seventh season. Shooting just 22.2 percent from three-point range, he's been an underwhelming off-ball threat and he's also averaging the lowest number of blocks since his second season in the NBA, so he's also taken a step back as a rim-protector.
Nonetheless, he's an integral piece of the team's success — particularly on defense — and it's unsurprising the Warriors have gone 3-5 while he's been out with his toe injury.
The Warriors do have the impending return of McKinnie to look forward to. McKinnie has averaged 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game for Golden State, shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 48.4 percent from three-point range. McKinnie has become a fan favorite after his arduous path to the NBA has seen him become a consistent contributor for the reigning champions.
