NBA Commissioner Adam Silver held a press conference on Friday and as usual, the discussion centered around several polarizing subjects that will almost certainly put the high-ranking league executive into even more controversy among his naysayers. At this point, however, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is having none of it.
In a rather surprising statement, Green gave Silver his flowers as the outspoken Warriors talisman heaped some high praise on the commissioner:
“To call Adam Silver the best commissioner in all of sports at this point is kind of disrespectful. He’s one of the best CEOs of a major corporation in the WORLD… just finished watching his PC. Very very very impressive,” Green wrote in his tweet.

Green isn't exactly an individual that you'd identify as a teacher's pet. He's had his fair share of run-ins with the league, and there is little doubt that he's going to have more of the same in the years to come. Be that as it may, the Warriors forward got brutally honest with his praise here. Whatever Silver does or says will almost always cause some sort of ruckus from one side of the fence or the other. What is clear, however, is that he has the full backing of one Draymond Green.
