The Golden State Warriors continue to add depth to their roster to ensure Stephen Curry has enough help as they try to return to title contention. The Dubs signed free agent guard Chris Chiozza, formerly of the Brooklyn Nets, to a two-way contract.

As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN noted, Chiozza has a chance to earn some solid playing time in the Warriors' rotation. Golden State's only other point guard aside from Curry is Gary Payton II, though the team also has Jordan Poole, who can take on some ball-handling duties if needed.

Chris Chiozza went undrafted in 2018, but he worked his way from the G League to finally joining an NBA team. He started with the Houston Rockets in 2018-19 before splitting his time with the Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets in 2019-20.

The 25-year-old remained with the Nets last season, playing in 22 games and starting in one. He averaged 4.0 points and 3.0 assists for Brooklyn in 10.5 minutes per contest.

The Warriors have been pretty active in free agency, and the Chiozza signing is just one of the many deals they have made. Aside from bringing back Andre Iguodala and extending Stephen Curry, they have also added Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica to their roster.

With Klay Thompson set to return next season, the Dubs are certainly hoping their added depth will be enough to bring the franchise back to the promised land, something they've been used to doing in the second half of the last decade.
