Stephen Curry was visibly upset after the Golden State Warriors' embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The Warriors, who are clinging on to the 10th spot in the Western Conference, let a golden opportunity to climb the ladder slip away with a 126-114 defeat.

Losing to the 20-44 Timberwolves, who have been struggling all season, was a bitter pill to swallow for Curry (via Anthony Slater of The Athletic).

“It's frustrating. At the end of the day, you want to win basketball games. We need to figure out what that is, practice, film, put it together in games. We're not going to talk our way through it. I'm trying to give you as much as I can about what's wrong, but it's on us to figure that out if we want to make this season mean anything.”

Curry, for his part, was great once again. He put up 37 points on six three-pointers, on top of six boards and eight assists. But we all know teams need more than just one player stepping up. Curry did have Andrew Wiggins providing support as he dropped 27 points against his former team. But other than that, no one else really showed up on Thursday for the Warriors.

One of the main issues for the squad has been length. Unlike in previous years when Curry and the Warriors found success with a small lineup, they've been exposed this season with their lack of frontcourt presence. This was clearly a problem against the surging Timberwolves. Karl-Anthony Towns and company outrebounded the Warriors, 57-34 for their fourth straight win.

It's back to the drawing board for Stephen Curry and the rest of the Bay Area crew as they have less than 10 games left to figure things out if they want to avoid missing the NBA Playoffs for two straight seasons.
