Addressing the well-publicized exchange between power forward Draymond Green and star small forward Kevin Durant, which took place Monday night at Staples Center, Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers refuted a report which claimed Durant's impending free agency is a locker room issue.

Draymond Green reportedly challenged Kevin Durant about Durant's summer free agency during their heated argument. Durant can become an unrestricted free agent after the season ends if he declines his 2019-20 player-option with the Warriors, something he is widely expected to do since more money is available to KD on the open market.

Barring something unforeseen, Durant and the Warriors are likely going to win their third-straight championship in 2018-19, which is why many people around the league believe Durant might consider joining another team in the summer of 2019 to embark on a new challenge.

Since joining the Warriors back in 2016, Kevin Durant has won two championships and two Finals MVPs with relative ease.

On media day, Kevin Durant said he was going to be honest and transparent throughout the entire free agency process. Bob Myers can diffuse this situation all he wants to by calling this out-of-the blue press conference, but Durant's free agency is and will continue to be a frequent talking point throughout the regular season and playoffs.
