Golden State Warriors sophomore forward Jordan Bell moved into a new residence early into his rookie season last year. Apparently, it was because of a stalker who kept watch on him and his girlfriend. Drew Shiller of NBC Sports mentioned Bell's recollection of that terrifying experience.

“I kept seeing him everyday. He was standing outside, wearing glasses, had a backpack,” Bell told reporters. “I'm thinking he's just a fan who wants an autograph. But he was there every single day … for a week, every day. I did it (signed an autograph) because I had just got here and I wasn't signing autographs like crazy.

“And then, my girlfriend was walking our dogs outside and he came behind her (Bell mimics somebody putting his hands on her shoulder) and was like, ‘Yo, is Jordan here?' And she was freaked out, and it's dark, she's by herself. … He was bigger than her, so she was frightened. She said he looked like a creep.”

It was a reality check for Bell as the stalker arguably found out about the young Warriors forward's location through a photo that he posted on his Instagram account. Back then, Bell was still getting used to the fame of being an NBA player, and the consequences that come with it.

The 23-year old high leaper will be playing a more important role for the defending champs this season. Superstar center DeMarcus Cousins will likely be out for a huge chunk of the season, and Bell could fill in as the Warriors' main man in the middle.
