The Golden State Warriors may have a handful of young players on their roster, but they're clearly in win-now mode. That makes the balancing act of trying to develop and integrate rookies, like Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga, that much more tricky.

Jordan Poole, entering just his third season with the Warriors, knows the transition can be extremely daunting for a teenager. Poole spoke out on Moses Moody and preached patience when it comes to judging what he can do on the court.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic:

“It comes with time. We go from college right away to pre-draft, where you’re working out for a couple months, right to a new team, right to training camp, right to preseason and then to a season, right? There’s a lot going on really fast. You’re right out of college, just probably starting to pay for rent, the little stuff like that is so much. It comes with time.”

After a goose egg during his first preseason game, the Warriors rookie out of Arkansas has gotten Stephen Curry to rub off on him a little bit. Moody has gone 5-for-6 from deep in the last two fourth quarters, with both games being close to finish.

Steve Kerr has taken notice as well. The Warriors coach heaped praise for Moody's ability to adapt and thrive in these small sample size situations.

“We’ve seen the last few days — we’ve seen him start to pick up on things,” Kerr said. “The first few days were kind of a whirlwind for him, but it’s a testament to his basketball instinct how quickly he’s picking things up.”

The Warriors youngsters have a lot of growing to do. But Moses Moody seems more than up for the challenge.
