Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson's jump shot looks even better than it did before the All-Star tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals.

That's at least what Thompson's dad, Mychal, thinks.

Klay Thompson is already one of the best shooters in NBA history. If he's going to come back in 2020-21 as a better jump shooter, the league is in a whole lot of trouble.

The Warriors are expected to be back in the playoffs next season with Thompson returning to the lineup. The future Hall of Famer missed the entire 2019-20 campaign recovering from his ACL tear, but he's been training at full speed for a few months now.

In 2018-19, Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the Warriors in 78 starts. The three-time champion shot 46.7 percent from the field, 40.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Warriors fans can't wait to see Thompson and two-time MVP Stephen Curry tearing up the league again. Steph only played in five games in 2019-20 due to a broken hand. As a result of both Curry and Thompson being out, Golden State had the worst record in the NBA in 2019-20 before the season was suspended in March due to COVID-19.

The Warriors' putrid season netted them the second overall pick in the 2020 draft. It remains to be seen what Golden State general manager Bob Myers will do with the pick, as he could trade it for a star player in the offseason to pair alongside Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green.
