Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has joined teammate Stephen Curry as the only players in NBA history to make at least 200 3-pointers in seven consecutive seasons.

Thompson entered Wednesday with 198 shots from beyond the arc. He hit the two he needed to join Curry against the Houston Rockets.

When it's all said and done, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry will go down as the two greatest shooters in NBA history.

Reggie Miller and Ray Allen were pretty good too, and an argument can be made that Allen was a better shooter than Thompson, but Curry is hands down the best shooter of all-time.

There's a reason Thompson and Curry are called the Splash Brothers. Opponents have to guard the two snipers as soon as they cross half court. Literally no lead is safe when you're playing the Warriors and it's because of Klay and Steph. They can go on a scoring tear by themselves and leave defenses in shambles.

Klay Thompson entered Wednesday with career averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest. The five-time All-Star shoots 46.0 percent from the field, 41.9 percent from the 3-point line and 84.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Thompson becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, but he is widely expected to stay with the Warriors.
