The NBA recently asked members of the 2019 NBA Draft to vote on a series of categories. When it was time to list their favorite player in the league, though, the rookies had no love for Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry. In fact, Curry didn't even get a single vote.

Via NBA.com:

Who is your favorite player in the league?

1. LeBron James, L.A. Lakers — 38%

2. Kevin Durant, Brooklyn — 20%

3. Kawhi Leonard, LA Clippers — 8%
Damian Lillard, Portland — 8%

5. Devin Booker, Phoenix — 5%
James Harden, Houston — 5%

Others receiving votes: Jamal Crawford; Kevin Garnett; Paul George, LA Clippers; C.J. McCollum, Portland; Steve Nash; Pascal Siakam, Toronto; Russell Westbrook, Houston

Curry is recognized as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, so it's a bit surprising to see him left off. For James, on the other hand, this marks his fourth appearance at the top. Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant have been recognized as the favorite among rookies on three occasions.

Curry, now 31 years of age, made 69 appearances with the Warriors during their 2018-19 regular-season campaign (all starts), racking up averages of 27.3 points on 47.2 percent shooting from the field (43.7 percent from beyond the arc), 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.8 minutes per outing.

The Warriors finished with a 57-25 overall record, which earned the team a No. 1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, Golden State was defeated by the Toronto Raptors in the championship round, 4-2.
