Lost in the drama surrounding the Golden State Warriors is a hilarious interaction between Spice Adams and Andre Iguodala. Following Golden State's victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, Iguodala quoted Adams in his postgame press conference.

Iguodala told reporters following the game:

“Somebody said there was this old school pimp, he said, ‘You would never be able to climb the mountain if it was smooth.' That was Spice Adams, yeah.”

Adams saw Iguodala's shout out and now he's ready to give Golden State a motivational speech. That quote is a nice little way to spin this for the Warriors. We all expect Golden State to cruise to an easy championship yet again, but there will be struggles along the way. This could be long forgotten when the Warriors are hoisting up their third straight Larry O'Brien Trophy.

That being said, this issue could be too big for even Spice Adams to figure out. Players have run-ins with each other all the time in the NBA, but those altercations rarely lead to a suspension. There is definitely something festering and it will be interesting to see how the Warriors choose to monitor this issue.

The in-fighting might not stop the Warriors from pulling off the three-peat, but it will definitely hold implications come free agency. It's virtually impossible for Golden State to keep all of their stars and the organization will need to make some tough decisions in the near future.

Iguodala is doing his best to keep it light in the locker room, but it's clear there's something deeper going on.
