The Golden State Warriors are one of the best all-around three-point shooting teams in the NBA. But that was not the case in their Game 4 loss against the Mavs. Golden State took just 28 three-point shots and made 10 of those opportunities. The efficiency wasn't awful, but their lack of volume was concerning. Stephen Curry addressed the Warriors shooting woes after the game.

“The first three games, I would say we haven't shot it as well as we wanted to based on the shots that we got and the way that they were defending us,” Curry said. “Obviously tonight I only got up five which is kind of weird. And I'll figure out exactly what they tried to do to take those looks away… We can probably create a little bit more volume, but I think the looks that we got were pretty solid.”

Stephen Curry then explained why he felt Golden State did not get as many three-point looks as usual.

“We were taking the ball out the net or taking it out the free throw line ‘cuz we were fouling a little too much to start the game, and we couldn't really create a flow like were used to.”

Steph is saying that the Warriors defensive struggles limited their offensive chances. Golden State is a team that thrives on rhythm and momentum. It usually ends up in a transition basket when they cause turnovers. But Dallas's ability to find the bottom of the net on a consistent basis hurt their overall rhythm, which is what Curry is alluding to.

Nonetheless, the Warriors are up 3-1 in the series and will have a chance to book their ticket to the NBA Finals on Thursday at home.
