Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry and actor Will Arnett will take part in an NBA-related comedy series for FOX, according to to a report from Variety.com.

The series, which is titled “The Second Half” is already in development. According to Variety, the show will take a “humorous look” at a retired NBA player who moves back home to Charlotte, buys a car wash and struggles to reconnect with his father, daughter, ex-girlfriend, and childhood best friend. He starts to realize that when it comes to the game of life, he's going to need a lot more practice.

Sean Clements, (“Making History,” “The Grinder” and “United We Fall”) will write the script and executive produce. Curry and Arnett will serve as non-writing executive producers, according to Variety.

Curry is no stranger to the entertainment industry. He's already made several cameo appearances and is executive producing a golf-based show on ABC called “Holey Moley.” The point guard also has a faith-based drama feature in the works called “Breakthrough.” Now, with this latest venture, the former Davidson standout is taking another step in that direction.

The Warriors have struggled to find a rhythm through the early stages of this season, as they're dealing with several injuries. Curry, who is currently sidelined due to a broken left hand, is expecting to return to action at some point this season, though it's unclear when exactly that will be.
