At this point, it's no longer surprising to see Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry drain an absurdly long 3-pointer in-game. Still, it's always a spectacle to watch. The two-time NBA MVP casually pulled up from near half-court against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Saturday.

Chef Curry was indeed cooking at the time since it was already his ninth 3-point make of the evening. Mavs center Kristaps Porzingis looked helpless as Curry launched that heave with ample time in the shot clock.

It's considered a bad shot for most, but Curry does have all the green light in the world from Warriors coach Steve Kerr. Here's the brilliant play.

Adding insult to injury, Stephen Curry even busted out that familiar shimmy celebration after splashing the trey. After all, it's not considered a Curry special without a funky dance afterward. Curry and the Warriors are looking for their second-straight victory against the struggling Mavericks team. They blew them out in their last outing, 147-116, in the same building. The 3-time champion had 28 points and six assists in their previous match.

Most NBA defenses are already aware that the Warriors superstar can fire away from anywhere on the floor. The Mavs defense better shore up or Curry will just do whatever he wants, regardless of the distance.
