Everyone's talking about the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets this offseason as favorites for the NBA title. But the Golden State Warriors are right there and could be at full strength by midseason.

That's exactly what NBA veteran turned ESPN analyst Jalen Rose claims – the Warriors are being slept on. He recently expressed his take on Stephen Curry and Co. on a recent episode of Jalen & Jacoby:

Via NBC Sports Bay Area:

“You can probably pair a [James] Wiseman and one of your young players with a [Andrew] Wiggins and now go out and get a more established player to go out and make another run at a ring.”

“The Warriors do have the Splash Brothers and Steph Curry was top-five in the MVP race last year without Klay,” Rose added. “Draymond Green was still one of the elite defenders in the league. They still have Steve Kerr as their head coach. When you look at the other teams (in the West), they just haven't done it.”

The Warriors have the four of the most integral pieces from their NBA champion teams. While they're indeed getting up there in age, they have a treasure trove of assets at their disposal to make a blockbuster move once the season rolls around. As long as Stephen Curry still plays at an MVP level, Golden State should be up there among the contenders next season.
