Thompson means a lot to the Warriors, not just as a player but as a positive locker room presence. He has embraced his role as a mentor for younger players, which will be invaluable to his young teammates and Golden State's future. His unbelievable dedication has gotten him back after being out for two full seasons.

The NBA world is pumped up to see Thompson back in action. Green, Curry, Kevin Durant and other players said that they are excited to see him back.

Golden State is surely happy to welcome him back. They are excelling on both sides of the ball and should only do better with another All-Star. Thompson's timeless skill set will fit right in with the new Warriors he hasn't yet played with.
