The Golden State Warriors escaped the Memphis Grizzlies by a hairline on Sunday, 117-116 to take a 1-0 lead in their second round skirmish in the NBA Playoffs.

The Warriors bucked the early ejection of forward Draymond Green due to a hard foul, mustering enough resilience and doggedness to fend off the hard-fighting Grizzlies. Widely considered the heart and soul of the squad, Green's premature exit signaled a red alert for the Warriors. But instead of pressing the panic button, star Stephen Curry said they remained calm in the face of adversity, per the report of ESPN.

“Whatever way you explain it, whatever emotion you tap into, you just bring it. When Draymond went out, there's a moment where you are like, all right, what are we going to do about it? How are we going to figure this out? Use halftime to regroup, and to come out the way that we did, I'm really proud of everybody and their approach to the game. It was a good vibe out there.”

Curry as a yoga instructor, anyone?

The tense moments were many for the Warriors in Game 1, needing a last-second defensive stop against Grizzlies star Ja Morant to secure the victory.

The Warriors weren't happy at all with Green getting ejected early, but for sure, the win softened the anger.
