Here's a list of players in Golden State Warriors history who have scored at least 17,000 points: Wilt Chamberlain and Stephen Curry.

That's it. That's the list.

Curry joined Chamberlain in the exclusive list in the Warriors' close loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, 111-107. The sweet-shooting, ankle-breaking guard finished with game-highs of 38 points and 11 rebounds on top of eight assists and three steals. He shot 12-of-21 from the field, including 7-of-14 from long distance.

His scoring output pushed his career total to 17,011. The two-time MVP is close to eclipsing Chamberlain's record of 17,783 points in a Warriors jersey. Curry has already set multiple three-point records and at this rate, it won't be a shocker if he achieves more before the end of the season.

After the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr gave the 32-year-old Curry the ultimate compliment (via NBC Sports).

“Steph is just an incredible player. If you ask me, he's the best Warrior of all-time. That's probably not going out on a limb. I don't know a whole lot about the records and stuff, I just know we're damn lucky to have him. He's amazing.”

Curry's latest milestone, however, came with a tough defeat as the Warriors absorbed their 10th loss and dropped out of the top eight in the Western Conference. The former Davidson star had help from Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre, Kent Bazemore, and Juan Toscano-Anderson but still fell short.

Stephen Curry and the rest of the Warriors can bounce back on Thursday when they take on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on the road.
