If you thought Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is rusty, you were wrong.

As the two-time MVP prepared for his return on Thursday night, he managed to hit five straight 3-pointers — all from halfcourt. Check it out for yourself in the clip below.

The Warriors guard is set to make his return against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night. The 31-year-old veteran hasn't appeared in a game since October when he broke his left hand. The Warriors guard has appeared in just four games this season.

In his absence — along with Klay Thompson — the once-powerful Warriors have stumbled to an NBA-worst 14-48 record. That's a far cry from the five consecutive Finals that the Warriors had appeared in over the last several years.

The veteran guard spoke of his excitement regarding his return.

Via Logan Murdock of NBC Sports Bay Area:

“I'm excited,” he told reporters following Thursday's shootaround. “Coming into this year, I was excited to compete and see what the season held in terms of our transition as an organization.”

Curry stressed that there's no chance of re-injury occurring.

“I’ve been clear that it’ll be awhile that, comparing the left [hand] to the right, it’ll feel normal,” he said. “But that’s the reality of it and at this point, I can’t reinjure it unless something freakish happens.”

“Hopefully, there aren't any thoughts and I get to play my game the way I see it and make plays without having thoughts or hesitation,” he added.

We'll see if Curry can hit up some 3-pointers as the Warriors look to avenge their Finals loss against the Raptors.
