Another game in Charlotte, another abysmal shooting night for Stephen Curry. For two games in a row, the Golden State Warriors superstar hasn't shot well from beyond the arc while playing in front of his hometown crowd dating back to the 2019 All-Star Game.

Following their 121-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, Curry said that it was unfortunate that he can't put on a show for his fans in The Queen City, but downplayed his struggles and called it just one of those bad shooting nights.

The two-time MVP probably has a love-hate relationship with Charlotte right now. He grew up in this very city, where his dad, Dell, played for 10 NBA seasons. For sure, he loves coming back to his hometown to see his family and friends.

However, Curry must hate stepping foot in the Spectrum Center, the home of the Hornets. The three-time champion can't seem to get his rhythm on this court.

Curry shot 4-of-14 from three-point range in their victory over the Hornets and made just 4-of-17 in the All-Star Game. So kudos to Steph for remembering and getting the math right.

Everyone has those occasional off-shooting days. Even the consensus best shooter in the world isn't exempted from that.

Nonetheless, despite having some bad luck in his hometown, Curry is still having a stellar season shooting the ball overall this season. The 30-year old sniper currently ranks second in three-pointers made this season with 255 behind Houston Rockets star James Harden but ranks first in threes per game with an astonishing 5.2 makes per contest. He is also in the top five in three-point percentage, shooting at a 44.6 percent clip.
