Golden State Warriors rookie Nico Mannion got a taste of what it was like to play with one of the fiercest competitors in the game, as Stephen Curry made his frustration heard during the Warriors' loss against the Los Angeles Clippers this past Thursday.

During a huddle in the third quarter, Curry expressed his discontent with how the team were playing and was visibly upset while letting his teammates know. But Curry was not done talking after the game was over.

Mannion talked about what it was like to be on the receiving end of Curry's passion for the game, via Alex Didion of NBC Sports:

“Last night in the huddle was I think the first time I've really seen him that animated,” The Warriors rookie told reporters Friday. “I think everyone knows he is a competitor, probably one of the best competitors I'd say, you can see that just from how much he wins and this organization's won and he's kind of the one behind it, him and Draymond, that was really the first time I've seen him that animated and he got his point across, we had a talk in the locker room after the game and we're going to try to get this thing back on the right track.”

Curry has had one of his best seasons so far, and he has put the Warriors team that is inexperienced and has had its fair share of injuries in a position where the hopes of making the playoffs are still alive. However, he can not do it single-handedly. Every single member of the Warriors roster has to play to their full potential if the team wants a chance of making it to the playoffs, and Curry will hold each and every member accountable.
