The Golden State Warriors enter Saturday with a record of 25-14, good for third place in the Western Conference standings, but head coach Steve Kerr says his team can be much better.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Kerr says his club hasn't reached its full potential yet, but that they are going to get better as the season moves along.

“We've got to do better,” Kerr said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN. “We know that. We've got to play better as a team. We're at the halfway point now of the season coming up, so we are going to continue to work and we're going to get to the point where we're going to reach our potential, but we haven't gotten there yet for sure.”

Even though they aren't playing their best basketball right now, the Warriors are still the favorites to win the title in June. This roster is too talented to not get it together and eventually go on some type of run.

The Warriors are averaging 116.3 points per game, which ranks third in the NBA. It's Golden State's defense which is hurting them right now, as the Dubs are giving up 111.9 points a night, 22nd in the league.

Steve Kerr and the Warriors are coming off a tough loss at home to James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Golden State will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they take on the Sacramento Kings.
