The Golden State Warriors made their recent road trip last week absent of their original All-Star trio. Obviously, Klay Thompson is still recovering from his ACL injury, while Stephen Curry is at home, likewise recovering from a broken hand.

Draymond Green, who returned on Monday in their 122-108 loss against the Utah Jazz at home, also didn't join the team in their three road games last week.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that the road trip was rather “strange” and “quiet” without their outspoken leader. They did, however, hear that familiar voice when they returned for shootaround with Green as his usual active self:

Green, who missed Golden State's last five games due to a torn ligament in his finger, surely didn't waste his time letting his voice heard on Monday night against the Jazz, either.

Frustrations boiled over for the 29-year old as he received back-to-back technical fouls in the fourth quarter, rightfully becoming the first player to ever get ejected at the Chase Center.

The 2019-20 iteration of the Warriors is obviously no longer the juggernaut we saw over the past five seasons. Instead, they have a bevy of young and raw prospects, most of whom are getting their first real chance at NBA basketball.

With all the youth on this roster, the presence of an experienced veteran and a proven winner should help them early out in their careers. As questionable as his antics may seem at times, Green is a consummate professional and always means business.

Draymond Green's voice and leadership will be very valuable to a Warriors locker room that will need a lot of guidance and direction, especially with all the losing they'll anticipate this season.
