Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr thinks the Dubs have played their last game of the 2019-20 season.

Kerr believes the Warriors won't play again in 2019-20, even if the NBA resumes the season:

“Look, for us, our season is basically over,” Steve Kerr said, via Ali Thanawalla of NBC Sports Bay Area.

“If the league was somehow to start up again, it’s very unlikely we would be playing regular-season games given that they’d be in such a time crunch. Who knows? But I’m feeling for all the teams in the fight, in the thick of it for a championship, that are in the playoff race, teams that have put so much into this, and this was obviously a year for us where we were trying to get healthy, trying to develop some young guys.

“So I’m not concerned about our guys, our team. I feel sorry for the teams that are kind of in limbo right now.”

The Warriors had the worst record in the NBA prior to play getting suspended. The Dubs were on their way to missing the playoffs for the first time in the Kerr era.

NBA owners are hopeful of resuming the season in the summer. If that happens, we could see the league shorten the end of the regular season so the 2020 playoffs can be played in full.

The Warriors had a terrible mark of 15-50 before the season was postponed. However, Golden State should be playoff contenders again next season once All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson makes his return from his ACL injury.

Whenever the 2020-21 season starts, the Warriors will be led by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and a top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, unless the Warriors choose to trade that pick.
