To say Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was delighted with his team's 104-99 victory against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night would be an understatement.

As a matter of fact, Kerr was so impressed with how his boys performed on the evening that he decided to drop a couple of F-bombs to describe their effort:

Kerr is channeling his inner Jurgen Klopp here, as he is actually quoting the Liverpool FC manager's recent statement following his side's historic, come-from-behind UEFA Champions League victory against Lionel Messi's Barcelona side in Tuesday's semifinals.

In Kerr's mind, his teams performance rivaled that of Klopp's Liverpool squad, which is why the Dubs head coach decided to dub his players as “f***ing giants.”

It's hard to argue against Kerr's sentiments here, as the Warriors did come out with a huge Game 5 victory on Wednesday to retake the lead in the series, 3-2.

Momentum was on the side of the Rockets after they had won the previous two games on their home floor, and if Houston somehow pulled off the victory in Game 5, they surely would have been in the driver's seat. The Warriors also ended up short-handed in this one, as superstar Kevin Durant was forced to exit the game due to a calf injury.

Nevertheless, the Dubs were able to dig deep and emerge victorious against the Rockets. As made obvious by Kerr's postgame statement, he could not be happier with his team's play in Game 5 and is surely hoping that this carries out for the rest of the series.
