The Golden State Warriors clinched the Pacific Division title for the fifth straight year under head coach Steve Kerr thanks to a 137-90 landslide win over the Charlotte Hornets. Needless to say, Draymond Green celebrated, but Steve Kerr knows his oomph had a lot more to do with Michigan State taking down Duke to move to the Final Four.

We know what you're thinking: There are divisions in pro basketball?

Yes, it's those archaic things that used to matter eons ago when considering the tight playoff races and now are only reflected in the form of banners that will now be shown in the rafters of Oracle Arena and later carried into the new state-of-the-art Chase Center.

Yet Green's celebration had more mixed in with that, according to Kerr:

“I told them [of the clinching] when I walked in and they all looked at each other, and Draymond started jumping up and down and spraying water on everybody, and Steph joined him,” said Kerr. “It was a delayed celebration.”

When asked if Green's celebration might have had to do with Michigan State besting Duke, Kerr nodded:

“He was very happy tonight about Michigan State, for sure” said Kerr, knowing what would await him. “The rest of us have to hear it for the rest of the week. Ugh.”

Kerr, an Arizona grad, has no skin in this NCAA Tournament, but he's likely already dreading coming to practice and seeing some of his assistants engaging in championship bets with Green as the NBA's regular season comes to a close.
