Every bad situation has a bright side, and for the Golden State Warriors, it's Kevon Looney. He's one of the most important members of the team, and he doesn't get a ton of praise.

Although the Warriors lost their most recent game, Looney reached a new milestone. The 6-foot-9 center played in his 100th consecutive game, and it made Steve Kerr rave about him.

“He's just such a pro. He's so respected in the locker room by every person in the organization, coaches, trainers, teammates,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told ClutchPoints. “He's just got a way about him that is so admirable. It's his demeanor, the daily commitment, never any drama. It's always just about winning.”

At the beginning of Looney’s career, he had a tough time staying on the court. Injuries kept him sidelined for an uncomfortable amount of time. Now he's the most durable player on the team.

“I can start him and play him 30 plus minutes,” the Warriors coach said. “I can start him and play him two five-minute runs and go small in a game, and he's going to approach the next day the exact same way. There's never any pouting, there's never any I need an explanation. It's just I'm going to come in, do my job, and help the team win. The guys a dream to coach.”

Looney is having a career season. He's averaging career highs in minutes, points, rebounds, and assists. The former UCLA Bruin is also on pace to play every game this season for the Warriors. It will be the first time in his career he's done that.
