Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says the team hears the reports claiming shooting Klay Thompson is unhappy in Golden State, but they see the sharpshooter every day and know he's happy.

Thompson becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. A few reports have come out stating Thompson could take meetings with the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers if the Warriors don't offer him a max contract.

However, all signs point toward the Warriors giving Thompson a five-year max deal. The All-Star guard has said multiple times in the past he wants to spend his entire career in Golden State:

When Kevin Durant is in the lineup, Thompson becomes the third option on offense for the Warriors, so sometimes he doesn't get the amount of shots he's looking for. Winning, though, is all that matters to Klay, and he has done plenty of that with Golden State.

The Dubs are playing in their fifth straight Western Conference Finals and looking to win their fourth ring in five years. Durant is currently out with a right calf strain, so Thompson is once again the No. 2 option behind star point guard Stephen Curry. In the two games since KD went down, Thompson is averaging 26.5 points.
