Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard's buzzer-beater against the Oklahoma City Thunder is a “good shot” for Lillard and Warriors star Stephen Curry.
Lillard and Curry are the only players in the league who can shoot those long 3-pointers and make them at a high rate.
Steve Kerr on Damian Lillard’s 37-foot stepback and whether or not it was a bad shot – “It’s a good shot for Damian. It’s a good shot for Steph. The game is being redefined as we play it.”#Warriors #Blazers #Thunder #DubNation pic.twitter.com/Dfsb540XcO

Thunder small forward Paul George said Lillard took a bad shot. George, obviously, is a little salty that Lillard hit the game-winner over him.
Lillard and Curry are the only players in the league who you have to guard once they cross half-court. Kerr has seen Curry hit countless deep 3-pointers since he became head coach of the Warriors back in 2014.
Lillard shot 48.1 percent from beyond the arc in the five-game series against the Thunder. He thoroughly outplayed Thunder guard Russell Westbrook. The Blazers will now face the winner of the San Antonio Spurs-Denver Nuggets series.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are looking to close out the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Golden State has a 3-1 series lead. Curry is shooting 47.4 percent on 3-pointers against the Clippers. The NBA world is hoping the Warriors and Blazers meet in the Western Conference Finals so that Lillard and Curry can go at it.
