The Golden State Warriors became the center of attention on Saturday morning with President Donald Trump taking to social media his decision to uninvite the organization to the White House.

However, the Warriors had yet to come to a decision on whether they would even take up the opportunity to visit the White House. This is something that head coach Stever Kerr believes that Trump didn't give them the chance to come to a conclusion.

“He (Trump) was going to break up with us before we could break up with him. It is the way it is.”

There was the expectation that the Warriors were leaning toward that decision, but Trump essentially beat them to that. What is also telling is that nobody from Golden State has voiced any surprise with the president's actions to go this route by personally addressing the situation.

This has also resulted in much support from many other current and former players around the league such as Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, who have called out the president in their own respective responses.

What this could also do is set a precedent of what may come for future teams who win the championships as long as Donald Trump is in the Oval Office.
