When you think of Klay Thompson, you think of shooting. He is already one of the greatest shooters of all-time and has had some insane performances in that area.

On Saturday, however, the Golden State Warriors guard reminded everyone that he can throw down as well.

Okay Klay. Going after Steven Adams with no fear. That's not a man you want to meet in the lane, but Thompson got the best of him in this showdown.

Even without Kevin Durant, the Warriors absolutely blew out the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-88. Thompson contributed with a great all-around night, putting up 23 points, eight rebounds four assists and three steals.

Thompson raised his season average in every single one of those categories with his game tonight.

Even without Durant, the Warriors are still an extremely formidable team. They have superstars in DeMarcus Cousins, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to cover his back.

The Dubs moved to 47-21 on the year with the win and are now one game ahead of the Denver Nuggets for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Thompson is obviously known most for his shooting prowess. That makes it easy to forget that he is 6-foot-7 with great athleticism. It's part of what makes him such a good defender.

However, you rarely see him use that height and athleticism on the offensive end of the court. Maybe he breaks it out when he's angry. Or maybe he felt a 15-point lead was enough that he could go for the slam.

Whatever the reasoning, Thompson should definitely bring out the bunnies more often.

Thompson is often overshadowed by Curry's shooting abilities. It will be hard for anyone to ignore him if he keeps throwing them down like this though.
