Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is regarded as arguably the best 3-point shooter in NBA history, and he may even have a future in golf. Early in “The Match 3” with Peyton Manning as his golf partner, Curry chipped a nearly-perfect bunker shot onto the green.

Similar to golfers, Stephen Curry looked to be in a bit of trouble in the bunker, needing to get himself out of the sand. The Warriors' All-Star point guard would get under the ball, putting in on a line that nearly pushed the ball into the hole.

However, the ball slightly rolled to the right of the pin, positioning himself for a short putt situation. Seeing that Curry and Manning aren't professional golfers themselves, being able to get onto the green against Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley is crucial.

The golf match involving the four superstar sports figures has been in the works for months. At the beginning of the week, before the match got underway, Curry, Manning, and Mickelson all took humorous jabs at Barkley's golf skills.

On the other hand, when he's not draining 3-pointers for the Warriors, Curry is known to spend his off-time golfing. Even though Curry has plenty of time left in his NBA career with the Dubs, if he had more time to work on his golf swing, he may be able to compete in better tournaments.
