Dwayne Haskins struggled on Sunday as the Washington Football Team fell to the Cleveland Browns, giving them a 1-2 record through Week 3. Following his uninspiring performance on Sunday, Ron Rivera has put Haskins on notice moving forward, per the Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala.

During Sunday's bout with the Browns, Washington was the first team to get on the scoreboard, with a touchdown pass from Haskins to Dontrelle Inman. However, after the touchdown pass to Inman, it was far from smooth sailing for Haskins.

The second-year quarterback would proceed to throw two interceptions on Washington's next three drives. At the end of the game, he would finish with two touchdowns, three interceptions, and a fumble that he lost while being sacked by Myles Garrett.

What makes his turnovers even worse, is the fact that the Browns were able to take advantage of them. Between his three interceptions and his lost fumble, Cleveland was able to turn them into 24 points.

Seeing that the game ended with a score of 34-20, the turnovers from Haskins could be a large reason why Washington fell to 1-2 on the season. And with Rivera understanding that Washington has a roster that can compete, he's not fond of Haskins giving the ball to the other team often.

Entering his first season as the head coach in the nation's capital, Rivera has expressed confidence in Haskins as the starting quarterback of the future. With that being said, if Haskins continues to falter in the turnover department, then Rivera could turn to Alex Smith or Kyle Allen at quarterback.

This situation will be worth monitoring as Washington takes on a tough Baltimore Ravens team in Week 4.
