The Washington Football Team shocked the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday during their week 4 matchup, scoring two touchdowns in the final four minutes of regulation, the second being a stunning pass from quarterback Taylor Heinicke to running back J.D. McKissic with 33 seconds left on the clock to give the WFT a four-point lead. Heinicke seemed as though he had nowhere to go, but he eventually found McKissic on his right, and the RB ran the ball thirty yards before diving, staying in bounds just long enough to get across the goal line. It was a thrilling conclusion.

Heinicke finished the game 23-33 for 290 yards and three touchdowns. A native of the Atlanta area, Heinicke was emotional after the game, recalling where he was this time last year: out of the league and living with his sister and brother-in-law just outside Atlanta. He signed to the practice squad of the Washington Football Team just ten months ago, eventually being called upon in his team's wild card game last season and playing well. He signed a two-year, $4.75 million extension back in february.

His sister was able to make it to the game on Sunday.

The WFT is now at .500, 2-2 on the season, with a game against the New Orleans Saints set for next Sunday.
