The Dallas Cowboys terminated the Washington Football Team's four-game winning streak by a score of 27-20. The Cowboys' defense dominated Washington's offense, which had several of its players suffer injuries.
Wide receiver Terry McLaurin fell hard and received a concussion screening in the third quarter, leaving the game for good. Taylor Heinicke left the game in the fourth quarter due to a knee injury. He was ruled questionable to return but remained on the sideline.

Heinicke had a very rough day with the Cowboys' tough front seven giving Washington's offensive line the business. He completed just 11 of his 25 pass attempts for 122 yards while throwing a touchdown and committing two turnovers. Edge rusher Micah Parsons, in particular, made Heinicke's day rough, sacking him twice and forcing a fumble that led to a defensive touchdown.
Kyle Allen stepped in for Heinicke, completing four of nine passes for 53 yards. He failed to complete the comeback due to a fumble on Washington's last drive.
Despite going down 24-0 by halftime, Washington remained in the hunt against its divisional rival with 12 unanswered fourth quarter points. But Allen and company's efforts weren't enough to keep their winning streak going, and will now look to pick up the pieces from this loss with several of their key players banged up.
Washington's measly 6-7 record still has the squad in the playoff hunt, but the guys can't afford to fall flat like they did to open the game against the Cowboys. Their next game is against the Philadelphia Eagles.
