Steven Adams and Andre Roberson made this Oklahoma high school football team's day pretty amazing.

The two Thunder teammates showed up at Heritage Hall's football practice Wednesday and suited up in full pads to run through some plays and drills.

The two looked a little funny in uniform because of how tall they are and neither looked too naturally inclined as a football player, but it was a good time for everyone involved.

Adams grew up playing rugby in New Zealand while Roberson hasn't played football since middle school.

Adams was asked about if he was surprised by Kevin Durant's decision to leave while at the practice and gave a typical response for him.

“It was a surprise, mate, but yeah … oh well,” Adams shrugged. “If he's happy, all good.”

Roberson also commented on what the style of play is going to look like next season in OKC.

“With our offense, the way we want to run it, it doesn't really matter what position you're in,” Roberson said. “We all kinda work together, jell together and have the offense cutting, moving and just sharing the ball more. It's definitely going to be a fun year and more ball-oriented stuff, so it should be fun.”

Adams and Roberson have had a fun summer spending a lot of time together. Amazingly, the Thunder's preseason begins in less than three weeks so fans will get a chance soon to see the new-look OKC squad in action very shortly.
