College Football 25 Offensive Power Rankings – The Top 25 Best Offenses in the Game

Today, EA Sports revealed the offensive power rankings for College Football 25 prior to the game's launch. The top 25 best offenses of College Football 25 include:

25. USC – 83 OVR

24. Virignia Tech – 83 OVR

23. Oklahoma – 83 OVR

22. Florida State – 83 OVR

21. UCF – 85 OVR

20. SMU – 85 OVR

19. Memphis – 85 OVR

18. Texas A&M – 85 OVR

17. Notre Dame – 85 OVR

16. NC State – 87 OVR

15. Arizona – 87 OVR

14. Kansas – 87 OVR

13. Ole Miss – 87 OVR

12. Penn State – 87 OVR

11. Utah – 87 OVR

10. Clemson – 87 OVR

Clemson just barely made the top 10 list of best offensive teams. Overall, the team scored almost 30 points per game last year and scored 49 touchdowns. But there's a lot of confidence that the team can perform even better in 2024. Offensive coordinator Garrett Riley enters his second season as offensive coordinator, and is likely more comfortable in his position now. And never count out Dabo Sweeney, who's only a few seasons separated from his Dynasty years.

9. Missouri – 89 OVR

With 50 touchdowns and over 32 points per game last year, the Missouri Tigers displayed their efficient offense last season. Brady Cook returns for another season, looking to perform better than the year before. Although the team's starting RB Cody Schrader is gone, the team still has a nice system in place to keep playing well.

8. Colorado – 89 OVR

It seems that despite a crash halfway through their 2023 campaign, the Deion Sanders-led Buffaloes are a top 10 offense in College Football 25. Personally, I feel the decision to put Colorado so high here is mostly due to the team's popularity rather than skill level. While the team played well early on in the season, both the offense and defense collapsed later on. Even with Travis Hunter missing time to injury, I find it hard to believe that's the only reason they lost. Nevertheless, they still remain one of the most exciting options to play with in CFB 25.

7. Miami – 89 OVR

The Hurricanes scored over 30 points per game last year while earning over 5,600 total yards in 13 games. However, we're not entirely sure the team deserves a top 10 spot with the same OVR as LSU and Ohio State. Additionally, while the roster isn't bad, we're not sure how QB Cameron Ward will play in an entirely new system. That said, Miami should be a lot of fun to play with.

6. LSU – 89 OVR

Honestly, we're surprised to see LSU rated so low in these offensive rankings. In 2023, the team led the NCAA in yards per game and points per game. We understand that with a new QB and a new co-offensive coordinator system in place, the team might not perform as well. That said, we still believe the team should've maybe earned a 90 OVR at the very least.

5. Ohio State – 89 OVR

The Buckeyes at #5 is a pretty interesting choice, but not unreasonable. The team did average over 30 points per game last year, but we're curious to see how effective the offense will be without Marvin Harrison Jr. While you won't see Ohio State in any of the top offensive stats as a team, the program's decorated history more than speaks to the team's excellence.

4. Texas – 91 OVR

The Longhorns earned over 475 yards per game last year as the team, and ranked sixth in total yards (6,855). Quinn Ewers returns under center, and hopes to have an even better numbers than last year. Although Arch Manning won't be in the game, don't let that turn you down from an insanely efficient Texas offense who made it to the College Football playoffs last year. They'll be really fun to use in modes like Dynasty.

3. Alabama – 91 OVR

Despite Nick Saban's retirement (which actually won't matter because there are no real coaches in College Football 25), there is certainly some curiosity as to how the team will perform this year. However, it seems EA Sports has full confidence in Alabama to continue succeeding. And in all honesty, I'm inclined to agree. As of 2023, the NFL has more players from Alabama than any other school. There's plenty of incentive for high-rated players to commit to the Crimson Tide.

2. Oregon – 94 OVR

The Ducks averaged over 40 points per game last season, making them more than worthy of this rank. Although players like Bo Nix and Troy Franklin are in the NFL, Oregon's football team is still brimming with talent. Tez Johnson caught for over 1,100 yards last year and will make for a great weapon for your new QB.

1. Georgia – 94 OVR

Overall, the Georgia Bulldogs are the #1 best offense in College Football 25. Carson Beck will likely be among the highest rated QBs in the game, and probably loaded with good abilities. Furthermore, the team averaged over 40 points per game last season, ranking fifth among all schools. Additionally, the team's impressive defense will give this Bulldog's offense plenty of chances to score.

Overall, that includes all the best offenses to use in College Football 25 at launch. Stay tuned, because later today we'll see the best defensive teams in College Football 25. Furthermore, the developers plan to release the official game power rankings on June 28th. In the meantime, feel free to check out some of the latest from the recent sights and sounds deep dive.
