Wilson Chandler, a Denver Nugget who has dealt with his fair share of injury problems, recently spoke out on the Nuggets' potential going into next year. He speaks highly about what he and the squad can bring as a cohesive unit.

“I think our bench has a lot of potential,” Chandler told BSN Denver. “Going back to the good years that we had, our bench was a big part of our success and I think that emphasis should be made on the coaches on the bench and starters mixing well and getting back to that because we can beat a lot of teams if we use the bench the right way.”

In order to make himself more effective, Chandler decided to try a new lifestyle. The small forward explains how he decided to become a vegan.

“At first it was an ‘I want to try something different type of thing’ and then I met this girl,” continued Chandler. “I wouldn’t call her a nutritionist, but she’s got some spiritual vibes, I guess. And we just started talking about things like health and spirituality and diseases and different herbalists and all different types of things. Once I learned more about it, it was easy to do.”

The lifestyle change can certainly lead to a healthier Wilson Chandler is he manages to adjust to the regular season comfortably. After dealing with labral tears in his hip throughout his career, he deserves a positive season.
